Quick-Release Plate

Using the Quick-release Plate

The quick release plate is located on the top of the tripod head.

To release the plate

Push the spring-loaded lever away from the head until it is perpendicular to the opposite side of the head.
The plate will then slip right out.

To replace the plate

Locate the black knob on the underside of the plate.
Position the plate with the black knob away from the lever
Push the lever out as during the plate release
Slip the edge of the plate with the black knob under the lip on the far side of the head.
Lower the edge that is closest to the lever in place
Release and close the lever
